World of Spas Saunas - World of Spas Sauna Benefits
What is Infrared Heat?
The sun is the principal source of radiant energy that we experience everyday of our lives. The infrared sauna produces safe, effective radiant heat from the infrared spectrum. Heat just like the sun's soothing warmth, but without the ultraviolet rays that cause sunburn and skin damage.
Our unique heaters are safe to the touch and generate the same radiant heat used to warm newborn babies and for the treatment of injuries by physiotherapists.
For Weight Loss.
Infrared therapy will result in loss of between between 400 and 600 calories for a thirty-minute session. The system helps to generate two to three times the sweat produced in a traditional hot-air or steam sauna.
While the weight loss can be regained by re-hydration, the calories consumed will not be.
This would be particularly valuable for those who don't or can't exercise, yet need effective weight control and a fitness maintenance programme to help with weight control.
For the Energetic Life of the Elderly
Heat therapy is widely used to treat patients suffering from arthritis and rheumatism. Much of the stiffness, and the aches and pains that come from aging are reduced or eliminated.

It helps to clear cellulite; also eczema and psoriasis respond extremely well to infrared treatment.
Open wounds heal quicker and treatment can remove roughness, leaving skin smooth and soft again. It firms skin tone and elasticity.
